The Meghji Sojpal Jain Ashram (shelter home) has been serving for last 59 years as the shelter home for mentally challenged, physically challenged, blind, very old men and women and old people suffering from long term diseases like tuberculosis and cancer, having no financial or family support. The ashram is giving shelter to 145 old and disabled men and women at present. The ashram has given shelter to more than 2500 men and women in last 50 years.
It has a staff of 45 employees for taking care of the inmates.
The Ashram (shelter home) was established in the year 1948 at Mandvi-Kutch in the state of Gujarat in INDIA with intention to give shelter to very poor mentally and physically challenged persons. It also supports old men and women who do not have any financial or family support.

The ashram is spread in the area of 45 acres of land. The land has been donated to ashram by Shree Jayanand Nagjibhai. Shree Meghjibhai Sojpal was the founder president of the ashram. The ashram has two wings one each for men and another for women inmates. It has medical dispensary and medical officers.
